The Selection Screens can be linked together to create an index of button accessible applications. The buttons are then configured for the application or function to be executed, be it a page in the Surf Browser, a number for the Surf Speed Dialer, Surf Mail, or another executable application.

Charge fees can be assigned to any of the Selection Menu's buttons either charging for content or time. If content, a flat fee for the application to be launched is charged. If time, a fee for a set number of minutes is charged. These minutes then carry over into other time charged applications and do so until Surf Touch returns to Idle Mode.

While in the Selection Menu or a separate application a global timer keeps record of when the last user interaction accord. Once the idle time equals the configured time to return to Idle Mode a prompt is displayed allowing for the user to continue or return to Idle. If the prompt times out, Surf Touch returns to Idle Mode resetting all current credit for charged time to zero.

Customizable backgrounds and buttons allow a business to portray any style of layout or flavor to their Selection Menus. This gives a personal customization to the kiosk stating originality and ownership.
