These check boxes tell Surf Touch when to advance past Idle, either by touching the screen or by an external device. Normally "advance past Idle on touch" is used, however in the case of money transactions using bill acceptors, credit cards, smart cards, or registering an ID using proximity cards certain further configurations have to be set.
